Agnes L. Pogue, 95, of Arlington, TN, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2017. She was born on January 4, 1922 in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Pogue retired from Seabrook after thirty plus years and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her grandbabies and making raviolis. Mrs. Pogue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verner W. Pogue and her mom, Irma Phelps. Mrs. Pogue is survived by two daughters, Judy and her husband, Tripp Byrd, Linda and her husband, Jimmy Hampton; three sons, James Pogue, Billy Pogue, Terry Pogue; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday, March 10 with service beginning at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be sent to Ave Maria Home in Bartlett.
