Alan S. Hutchison was born in the autumn of 1963 in the suburbs of Seattle. He came to be as the youngest among five children, alongside older brothers Bob and Mike Hutchison, and in addition to his sister Paula Green and brother John Hutchison. It was Seattle in his earliest years, thus planting the seed for his lifelong appreciation of all sports that came from Seattle and the State of Washington.

Alan eventually moved further north with his siblings and family, beginning their new lives in Fairbanks, Alaska. There, Alan grew an appreciation for the state of Alaska. It was there that he called "Home". Alaska is the place where Alan found his footing, refined his craft in carpentry, proceeded to dance in the arts of ballet, and joined the Armed Forces as a Military Police Officer, later influencing his career and passion within the Air National Guard as a Military Criminal Justice Paralegal, where he served for 26 and a half years, and a total of 30 years and six months.

At 36, Alan became a father for the first time, to his son, Alec Hutchison. Through love and sacrifice, his unwavering commitment to fatherhood resulted in his becoming a devoted husband to his wife, Tiffany Hutchison, and a father to his newest son, Brendon Hutchison. Then followed his youngest, most lovely, and Alan's only daughter, Lexi Hutchison.

Alan was everything, from a loving and devoted husband, and a warm, sensible brother and friend, to a "giant teddy bear" to his three beautiful children. Alan, to his family, was an anchor. He will always be their depiction of an unwavering husband, a good, good father, and the best of friends.
