Albert R. Grantham, 88, of Memphis, TN, son of Emmett and Mae Grantham, born in Lexington, MS, on October 5, 1926, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2015. He was a retired truck driver, WWII Army veteran, a longtime Scout Master of Troops #61 and #262, a 54 year member of the Berclair Masonic Lodge, and an avid fisherman. Mr. Grantham was preceded in death by his loving wife, Effie G. Grantham. He is survived by his children, Billy R. (Mitzi) Grantham, Brenda J. Grantham, Betty G. (Gary) Phillips; grandchildren, Michelle (Edwin) Feliu, Kimberly Phillips, Lyndsay (Tommy) Welsandt, Joshua, Taylor, Mason and Jason Coulter; and four great grandchildren, Taylor and Joseph Feliu and Austin and A.J. Welsandt; and his beloved dog, Lola. Visitation will be 5 p.m. Thurs, August 6 with Masonic Rites beginning at 7 p.m. and funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 7 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery. The family request memorials be made to Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.
