Albert Bill "Lucky" Cox, loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 26 ^th , 2020.  He was born 20 Feb 1942 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, the son of Albert Bill Cox, Sr. and Martha Jean Jones Cox.  He joined the Navy in 1959 at the age of 17 and was a sonar technician on the U.S.S. Rowan, a Navy destroyer.

He married on 26 Dec 1964 in Memphis and has two children, a son, Jeffrey Brian Cox, and a daughter, Cheryl Lee Cox.

Albert married Shirley Simpson Reinhardt on April 7, 2001 and together they moved to Perryville, TN.  Albert & Shirley attended Trinity Assembly of God Church in Decaturville, TN.

He was active in the American Legion, Post 243, where he was Finance Officer, and a member of the Honor Guard who helped prepare and carry out procedures for Military veterans and their families.

Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert Bill Cox, Sr., and his mother, Martha Jean Jones Cox.  He is survived by his loving wife of 19 ½ years, Shirley Simpson Reinhardt Cox, his son, Jeffrey Brian Cox (Kim) of Sugarland, TX., his daughter, Cheryl Lee Cox Grady (Greg) of Olive Branch, MS, a step-son, Mark Louis Reinhardt (Dana) of Covington, TN, and a step-daughter, Karla Marie Reinhardt Bozeman (Chris) of Clifton, TN.  He leaves 4 grandchildren: Colton Cox, Porter Cox, Mallory Grady and Max Grady and 3 step-grandchildren: Anthony Priola, Reagan Reinhardt and Reese Reinhardt.  He also leaves 4 sisters: Evelyn Hatton (Fred) of Beaumont, TX, Nancy Wilde (Eric) of Croydon, Utah, Linda Clark (Lynn Jones) of Hernando, MS, and Connie Yarbrough Kerr of Cordova, TN.  He also leaves a host of other loving family and friends.
