Albert R. Marler, 84, of Byhalia, MS died Sunday, October 12, 2014. He was a retired Distribution Manager and driver for Osmose Wood Preserving, a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Marler was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Russell Marler. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Norma Marler; three stepsons; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014 with services to follow at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
