Aldena Meacham Trevathan, 97, of Ironton, Missouri passed away on March 19, 2020.  She was born on November 19, 1922, to Joseph and Zelma (Harris) Meacham in Monette, AR.  After completing cosmetology school in Jonesboro, she married Jacob Eli Trevathan, Jr. on April 6, 1946.  They made their home in Memphis, TN where she worked as a beautician in downtown Memphis and later in Raleigh.  She was a faithful member of Leawood Baptist Church until she moved out of the city.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents Joe and Zelma Meacham, brothers, Harris, Gerald and Rudolph and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Johnson.  She is survived by a son, Larry Trevathan and his wife, Joy, and a daughter, Lorraine Swindol and her husband Don. She is also survived by grandchildren, Dawn Swindol Todd, Jason Swindol and Melissa Trevathan Weeks; great-grandchildren, Jacob, David and Andrea Todd, Madison Weeks, Maggie Kaye and Clayton Jack Swindol.

A private burial service will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East followed by a memorial service to be announced in the future.  Memorials may be sent to The Baptist Home, 101 Riggs Scott Lane, Ironton, MO 63650.
