A.W. "Wayne" McClanahan, 74, formerly of Memphis and Horn Lake, MS, passed away on January 7, 2016 in Russellville, AR. Wayne was an Army Veteran and retired from Conley Frog and Switch Company. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Allen, Sr. and Alvearn McClanahan; two brothers: Charles A., Jr. and Thomas Lynn McClanahan; one sister, Linda Gail Shankle and great-grandson, Brantley Gage Coker. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Barbara "Bobbie" McClanahan; five children: Anita Louise Burnette (John);Teresa Corol Coker, David Wayne McClanahan (Britney), Mark Lynn McClanahan (Maggie) and Michael Greg McClanahan; 11 grandchildren: Jason W. and Jessica L. Williford, A.J., Kevin W. and Brandon Coker, Brittany N. Wilson, Monica L. Peterson, Madison L. and Ciarra S. , Veronica D. and Marley G. McClanahan; 11great-grandchildren: Hunter and Hayleigh Williford, Keyton , Case, Cade, Brantley, Hayden and Zane Coker, Payton and Branson Wilson and Afton McClanahan. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
