A.J. (Alexander) Colton, 94, dies on December 18, 2024.

He leaves his wife of 72 years, Charma Tate Colton; his daughter, Charma Harrison (Edwin); his son, A.J. 3rd (Diane); and his daughter Tina. He leaves four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was a 1951 graduate of CBC (High School). He retired as an electrician from The Memphis Fire Department, and was a 70 year member of IBEW 474. He served as a deacon and Monday Work Crew member at Colonial Baptist Church.

There will be a graveside service at 12pm on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Forest Hill Memorial Park - East 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, Tennessee 38133.

Family asks in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to an association of your choice.
