Alfred George Farmer was born in Memphis, TN on June 4, 1944 to Frank Jr. and Irene
Farmer who preceded him in death. He passed away on December 3, 2016 at the age of
72 years. He is also preceded in death by a grandchild, Randy Jr.; and three brothers,
Frank Jr., Gregory Arnold and Kenneth Frank Farmer. Alfred leaves behind his children,
Derrick Yates (Linda), Randy Farmer, Patrinia Blakey (Tyrone) and Precious Mitchell
(Frederick); grandchildren, Crystal, Jamarious, Jalicia, Derrick Jr., Demarcus, Kameron,
Toryean, Jalissia, Dana, Veronica, Emmazia, Shakeyla, and Frederick II; great
grandchildren, Isabella, Carter, Madison, Kaiyah, Emiyah, Deshun and Kamylla;
brothers, Eric D Farmer (Vernetta) and Donald G. Farmer; sisters, Carol D. Farmer,
Sherry A. Farmer, Jean E. Farmer, and Jacqueline J. Davis (Steve). A visitation will be
held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10-11 am with funeral services to
immediately follow at 11:00 am, all at the Spirit of Life Church Healing Wings
International, 4444 Old Allen Rd., Memphis, TN. Interment will be held in New Park
Cemetery following services at 2:30 PM.
