Alfred Lewis Knight, 73, of Cordova, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 24, 2017. He was a retired Manager for Joe Stewart Body Shop. Mr. Knight loved to care for his family and fishing. He also enjoyed Memphis Tigers and the Grizzlies Basketball. Mr. Knight is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years, Janie Knight; children, Gina Knight Jenkins (Mark), Alfred Knight, Jr., (Jeri), Shannon Knight (April), Chad Knight, Robert Knight and Windy Knight; his mother, Priscilla Jane Knight; brother and sister in law, Roger and Helen Knight; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Knight. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 28 until service begins at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East with entombment following. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital, American Heart Association, or to Morris Chapel Baptist Church, 475 Feathers Chapel Road, Somerville, TN, 38068.
