Obituary

Alfred (Al) Spicer, 74, of Bartlett, Tennessee went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 18, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Nanny Spicer, his daughter Holly Spicer Agnew, his brothers Walter, Red, Melvin, John, and Leon.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cheryle Spicer - two sons Brandon and Jarrod Spicer of Bartlett, Tennessee - two grandchildren Chase (Melody) Agnew of Norfolk, Virginia and Autumn (Daulton) Roberts of Oxford, Mississippi - two great grandchildren Landon Agnew and Ava Raburn, and his brother Dorris (Linda) Spicer of Bartlett, Tennessee. His loving church family and a host of friends.

Al graduated from Fayetteware High School and was drafted into the Army where he served honorably during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he joined the Memphis Fire Department in 1969 from which he retired on 2003. Al proved through action that he was a devoted servant to his fellow man.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Bartlett, Tennessee

Funeral Services for Alfred (Al) Spicer will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2440 Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Visitation for Mr. Alfred Spicer will be 9:00 - 10:00 AM.
