Alice Faye Owens, 77, was born in Vaiden, MS to the late Coma W. and Leather May Stewart during WWII while her father was fighting the Germans in Europe. She was the sister of Betty Turner and Ricky Stewart. Alice made her living by sewing. He cooking skills were wonderful, especially her biscuits and cornbread. She was raised by a Christian family and was beloved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Owens.

Alice leaves one son, Tony Owens and daughter in-law Susie; one daughter, Felicia Allison and son in-law, Troy, 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; also her sister, Betty Turner and brother, Ricky Stewart.
