Alice Faye Sanders, 78, of Dyersburg, TN went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare – Dyersburg Regional. Mrs. Sanders was born August 30, 1939 in Dyersburg, TN. She is retired from William R. Moore Tech (Memphis) and Dyersburg State Community College. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always loved being with her family. Mrs. Sanders was a very active member of Second Baptist Church in Dyersburg. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and served him faithfully. She was preceded in death by her parents, DeWitt and Hattie McGraw; granddaughter, Kayla Sanders; and a sister, Barbara Cole. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Glenn Sanders; three children: Dennis Sanders(Teresa), Deanna McNair(Mac), and Derry Sanders(Kathy); five grandchildren: Christina Lewsader(Dave), Cari Grissom, Crystal Westmoreland, Christopher Sanders(Tiffany), and Ashley Sanders; and ten great-grandchildren: Aaron Lewsader, Evan Lewsader, Anna Wilson, Levi Westmoreland, Parker Westmoreland, Jackson Westmoreland, Marissa Grissom, Emily Grissom, Joshua Grissom, and Elizabeth Sanders. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. Both will be held at Second Baptist Church in Dyersburg, TN with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Pallbearers will be Darren Cole, Eric Cole, Dave Lewsader, Roger Grissom, Jimmy Morris, and Glenn Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Cole, Billy Smith, and Ron Richardson. Arrangements were entrusted to Forest Hill Funeral Home, East in Memphis, TN.
