Allie Mae Giles of Hernando Mississippi, born on September 3, 1927 to Roy and Ella Rhodes, passed away peacefully at the age 93 on July 18, 2021. Her husband, Harold, and many loved relatives preceded her in death.

Allie was the oldest of ten siblings raised in the foothills of Missouri. She loved hummingbirds, fishing, cats (Bonnie), horses, gardening, walking, talking on the phone and photography. Blessed with a spectacular life, she leaves us with the greatest gift of her just being her.

She is survived by three daughters: Deborah Tucker (Jerry), Diana Stone LaFortune (Jim), and Denise McBroom (Will). She was Grandmother to Bryant Tucker (Carla), Joshua Tucker (Kayla), Amanda Novosad (Josh), and Rachel McBroom. Her two surviving siblings are Patsy Gray (Bill) and Patricia Ipock (Gene) along with many nieces and nephews. Old Granny also leaves behind five Great Grandchildren: Jericho, Hadley, Albany, Madelyn, and Branson.

Her family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 to 6:00 PM on 07/21/2021 at Forest Hill - Midtown Chapel, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN 38106. Graveside Service only will be held at 10:00 AM on 7/22/2021 at Forest Hill-South, 2545 East Holmes Road, Memphis, TN 38118.
