Alma Richie Collins, 87, died peacefully on November 3, 2013, after a long illness. Mrs. Collins is the widow of James Curtis Collins, Sr. She is survived by her siblings Wayne Richie and Shirley Carey. She is also survived by 2 of her children, Nelda Briggs Williams and David R. Collins; 5 grandchildren, Tracie Hill, Christy Marcrum, Sam Briggs, Tammy McKinnon and Jenny Riley; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Germantown Baptist Church and former member of National Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00am at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Midtown location. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
