Joanne "Mamie" Doyle, age 69, resident of Memphis, Tennessee departed this life, Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Baptist Hospital of Memphis.

Joanne was born June 7, 1954 in Somerville, Tennessee. The daughter of late William Thomas (W.T.) Butler and Dorothy Butler. A graduate of Collierville High and was of the Baptist faith. She was a long time employee of Baptist Hospital of Memphis.

Joanne was married in 1974 and is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Doyle of Memphis; her daughter, Carrie Ralph (Billy Jr.) of Medon; along with 5 grandchildren, Makaya Jade Ralph, Ireland Quinn Ralph, Lydia Grier Ralph, Billy Ralph III, and Osiris Jameson Ralph.

In addition, Joanne is survived by her siblings; Louise Weaver of Hickory Withe, Tommy Butler of Hickory Withe, Brenda Doyle McKnight (Sims McKnight) of Galloway, Wanda Anderson of Millington, Barbara Holly of Memphis, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Thomas Butler, Jr.
