Alveria M. Gibson, Nesbit, MS, born in Memphis, TN on March 27, 1929 and died peacefully in her sleep on January 9, 2016. Ms. Gibson was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Alton Gibson. She is survived by her children, Rene Gibson and Robert Gibson (Ellene); grandchildren, Charles Brandon Strauser, David Terry Gibson and Taylor Anne Gibson; great grandchild, Kylie; sisters, Mae Facello and Francis Foley. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 1:00 pm at Getwell Road United Methodist Church, 7875 Getwell Road, Southaven, MS 38671
