Alvin McShan, 91, of Memphis, died July 19, 2013. He was a retired Air Force veteran of World War II and Korea. Alvin was a licensed Airframe and Power Plant Technician for South Air and was a longtime member of Whitehaven United Methodist Church. He is survived by his two daughters, Nancy McShan and Susan Mearns; and was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Nellie McShan. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 21 and funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 22 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
