Amelia Mae (Boyett) Dacus of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2022.
Born on June 18, 1935 to Lewis and Jimmie Mae Boyett in Alamo, TN, she lived a full life and left as a
cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. She graduated from Humes High School and was a
member of Wells Station Baptist Church. Amelia was a fierce protector of her family and friends, and
her love was truly unmatched. After retiring from Riverwood International, she continued to live a full
life, with a love for music, line dancing, and tending to her flower beds and plants. The simple things in
life brought her so much joy, she loved showing off her grandbabies to friends, and continued to be
independent and free spirited in spite of any challenges.

She is survived by daughters Toni Baker, Lisa (Carl) Knight, and son James (Tonya) Dacus;
Grandchildren: Andrea, Ashley, Kelsey (Jonas), Cody (Brittney), Trey (Katherine), Kaelyn (Matt), Zachary,
Lydia, and Sophia; Great-Grand Children: Chris (Talia), Josh (Logan), Tristen (Tyler), Jaxon, Jeremiah,
Aiden, Athens, Gracie, Macartney, Hayes, Rhyder, Maggie, Easton, Harlyn, and Daphne; Great-Great-
Grandchildren: Baby Tripp on the way.

We will love and miss her always. Life will never be quite the same, but Amelia's love for each
of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and growing families will stay with us forever.
