Amelie Forrester-Rowell , 88, born on May 24, 1931 and passed peacefully to her heavenly home on March 27, 2020. God & her family were her heart and joy and she fervently prayed for our salvation, well-being and success. She was a godly example and taught her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren about God & His Word. Her love for the Lord, Biblical wisdom and teaching as a Bible Study Fellowship Group Leader and Sunday School teacher for many years left an indelible mark on countless women and children's lives. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and loved worshiping there with her family & friends.  While she will be sorely missed, we praise God for the life she lived , the example she set and the heavenly home she is now enjoying. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Nelson Rowell and survived by her sons: James (Frieda) Rowell, Philip (Sherry) Rowell; grandchildren: Tim (Alicia) Rowell, Tiffany (Matt) Korte, Michael Rowell and Kristin Rowell and great-grandchildren: Richard, Natalie, Owen and Seth. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the family plans to hold a memorial service at Forest Hill Funeral Home East at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bellevue Baptist Church Missions Fund.
