Obituary

Louise Anderson of Memphis,TN passed away on August 31, 2026. Louise was born in Oklahoma City to Patricia and W.L. Oller on July 9, 1958. She graduated from MacArthur H.S. in Irving, TX in 1976 and Texas A&M University in 1980 with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband Randy met while attending Texas A&M and were married on May 23, 1981. Louise worked as an elementary school teacher in Houston, TX and then McAllen, TX until she and Randy relocated to Memphis in 1989. In Memphis Louise focused on being a full time mom for their daughters Audrey, Mary Kate and Daley, along with active participation in numerous school and church activities and responsibilities.

Louise was preceded in death by her father, W.L. Oller, mother Partricia Oller and sister Tina Oller.

She is survived by her husband Randy and daughters Audrey, Mary Kate and Daley. Much of Louise's life was shaped and driven by being diagnosed as diabetic at the age of 6. At an early age she had to learn and adopt a lifestyle with a great deal of discipline and control to manage her diabetes. She carried this discipline throughout her entire life. In 1993 Louise underwent a kidney transplant. Through her strong determination, focus, and discipline she was a successful transplant recipient for over 33 years. In spite of the life challenges she faced, Louise persevered to have a daughter (Audrey) in 1983 and to extend the love of her home and family through adoption of two more daughters - Mary Kate in 1995 and Daley in 1998.

In recent years, Louise loved pursuing, researching, and documenting the details of her genealogy and the history of her family tree, including her Osage Indian heritage. She developed a great love and memory for the history of family details and events. Louise was a member of First Evangelical Church in Memphis, TN, where she loved teaching Sunday School classes when the girls were younger.

Louise's faith and confidence in Jesus Christ as the creator, maintainer, and keeper of her soul was steadfast and assured.
