Anita Joyce Ferguson, age 84 years old, of Collierville, TN passed away and went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2022.
Anita was born on July 1, 1938 in Halls, TN to Mary Nell and James L. Wyse. She graduated from Bartlett High School.

Anita married M.R. "Buddy"Ferguson Jr., and would have soon celebrated their 63rd anniversary. They were members at Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Through the years, they enjoyed traveling, bowling, camping and spending time watching their grandchildren and great grandchildren grow.
Anita was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ferguson, parents, J.L. Wyse and Mary Nell Wyse, sisters, Bonnie (Dale Williams), Frances, Brenda (Clarence Puckett), and brother, Bobby Wyse.

She is survived by her husband, M.R. "Buddy"  Ferguson Jr., daughter, Pamela Pate (Richard), daughter-in-law, LouWanda Ferguson, grandchildren, Hunter Pate (Amelia), Taylor Pate, Courtney Lies (Benjamin), Jacob Ferguson, her great grandchildren, Jack Pate, Cole Pate, Charlotte Lies, sister, Kay Stevenson (William), brother-in-law, Bob Daniels, sister-in-law, Eva Wyse, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Anita Ferguson will be held at Forest Hill East Cemetery on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM with interment following immediately after services.
