Anita Choate Harbison, 94, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 18, 2014. The widow of Hunter G. Harbison, she is survived by two daughters, Nancy Haney (Jeff); Jayne Harbison; two sons, Hunter L. Harbison (Pam); Richard Harbison (Grace); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and special friend, Sam Gates. A Faithful Servant of the Lord, she used her talent as an accomplished singer as she accompanied her late husband during his time in the Army. For 76 years she was the lead soprano at McLemore Christian Church. Anita was a member of the Beethoven Club. The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m., Friday, followed by services at 2 pm, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown.
