Ann M. Burgess, 81, of Memphis, TN, went on to be with the Lord on May 11, 2014. She was retired from Baptist Hospital and was a longtime devoted member of Wells Station Baptist Church. Mrs. Burgess is survived by her daughter, Becky Gatlin; son, Smokey Burgess; four grandchildren, Shadasy, David, Garrett, Sarah; six great-grandchildren, Aidan, Emma, Gatlin, Kennedy, Zoey, Gwen; three step-grandchildren and a step- great-grandchild. She was greatly loved by her community and will be missed. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 14 and service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, with interment following.
