Ann M. Miller

Memphis, TN

She was 82 years young, a devout Christian lady, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, a Karaoke Singer, Wonderful Cook, Avid Gardner, Beauty Queen and World Traveler until Cancer entered her life last year. Ann M. Miller fought hard to stay with us until she ascended into Heaven June 6, 2016. WaWa, as she was lovingly known to her Family, was born in Long Beach, CA, raised in Searcy, AR and lived in Memphis since 1951. She retired from Bryce Corp. in 2013 after 33 wonderful years. Ann was predeceased by her parents, O.J. and Adelle Hilburn, Grandson, Chip Parkhurst and Great Grandson, Tyler Emmons. She is survived by her children Barbara Parkhurst (Jerry) of Collierville, Diane Miller of Germantown and John Miller (Mary) of Poplarville, MS; 9 Grandchildren, Keith Emmons, Lindsay Kobuszewski, Hunter Stroud, Leslie McKenzie, Drew Stroud, Whitney Humphrey, Patrick Stroud, Brittyn Ezelle and Parker Miller; 4.5 Great-Grandchildren, Jon Michael McKenzie, Brendan Kobuszewski, Emma Kate McKenzie, Brady Kobuszewski and Baby Humphrey (August 2016); brother, Don C. Hilburn of West Memphis, AR and her furry baby, Sophie. Wawa loved the Lord and was a founding member of The Orchard Church. We would like to thank Dr. Arthur Franklin, her Bryce Corp. Family, The Angels at Crossroads Hospice and her Karaoke Family for the love and support they have shown her. The family will receive friends at 11:45 a.m., Saturday, June 11 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN. Service to begin at 1:45. Donations to the Memphis Humane Society.
