Anna H. Wright, "Ann", 88, raised in Paducah, KY area, native of Memphis, and retired from Heber Springs, AR, was called home by her Lord on May 23, 2014 at her home. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing and retired after 25 hard loving years as a nurse at Cripple Children''s Hospital. Mrs. Wright is the widow of the late, J.R. "Bob" Wright, retired Shelby County Sheriff''s Department Assistant Chief. They were very active members and on the Board of St. Albert''s Catholic Church in Heber Springs and she was more recently a communicant of Church of the Holy Spirit. Mrs. Wright is survived by her children, Michael of The Colony, TX, Bob, Jr. (Cathy) of Germantown, Burnie (Bobbie) of Cordova, Martha Hui (Christopher) of Cordova; sister, Mary Lou Blanchette of Batesville, AR; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Ave Maria Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Ave Maria Home, Church of the Holy Spirit or to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
