Obituary

Ann "MeeMaw" Hamilton died surrounded by loved ones in her home on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Collierville, TN at the age of 81.

Ann is survived by her siblings: Catherine, Dorothy, Agnes, John, Martha, Rosemary, and Helena; the children of her blended family: Diane, Allyson, Frank, Christopher, Stephanie, Carol, Nancy, Scot and John, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Irvin & Mary Olendorff; her siblings: Barbara, Margaret, and Pauline; and her husband Frank.

Ann had four children from her first marriage and then met the love of her life, Frank Hamilton, in 1971. With his five children and her four, MeeMaw had a garden of 27 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Until last fall, Ann was still working at James Middleton Jewelry Store in Germantown 3 days a week, golfing at least once a week at Windyke Country Club, as well as travelling to visit her family which is spread all around the world. What an amazing woman!

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21 th at Forest Hill South Funeral Home and Memorial Park – 2545 East Holmes Rd, Memphis, TN. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm and the memorial will begin at 3:00pm. Father James Martell will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ann's life.
