Anna L. McOwen, 89, of Southaven, MS, passed away Tuesday, August 08, 2023. She was born in Shirley, Arkansas on March 06, 1934, to parents Ray and Amy Shull. Anna worked at Kellogg's for over 30 years before retiring. She married the love of her life, William E. McOwen on July 07, 1951. They were married 66 years before his passing and from that union four wonderful children were created. In Anna's spare time she loved to go hunting and fishing. The casino was another place she loved to spend time at as well. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ray and Amy Shull, her husband: William McOwen, and her son: Ernie McOwen (Amy). She is survived by three of her children: Sharon Johnson (Joe), Brenda Plunk (Allan Hardy), and Betty Staten (Harry), 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
