Annette Dickens, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on April 27, 2020. Frances "Annette" Anderson Presley Dickens was born on June 27, 1924 to James and Sarah Ruth Batchelor in Hughes, AR. One of 9 children, she is predeceased by siblings James Batchelor, Floyd Batchelor, Nellie Faye Rhodes, Grace Willard, Barbara Kimble, Nancy Sutton, and Allie Ruth Carter. She is survived by her youngest brother, Rex Batchelor, of DE. Annette worked hard and raised her three young children following the death of her first husband, Orland Paul Anderson in 1955. She built and settled in a cabin in Heber Springs, AR, with husband Herman Presley, whom she lost to cancer in 1979. She and Tom Dickens married in 1982 and enjoyed many years together on the Little Red River and traveling the world before his death in 2004. Annette is survived by her children Carol (Bill) Maule, Paul (Rosanne) Anderson, and Tanya Anderson, grandchildren Lauren (Clifton) Stone, Wendy Anderson, and Paul (Melissa) Anderson, and great grandchildren Lily Annette Anderson, Anderson Stone, Waring Stone, Mary Evelyn Stone and Rosemary Anderson. Her family gave thanks for her life in a graveside service on April 29th.
