Annie "Marie" Carlton, 87, of Memphis TN, loving Wife, Mother and Gram, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital- Bartlett. Mrs. Carlton worked in previous years as a testing coordinator for Shelby State Community College. She was a very active member of Crossroads / Armore Baptist Church where she taught special need children for over 40 years in Sunday school. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis B. Carlton and her parents, William James and Pauline Potts. She leaves her two daughters, Pam Summons (Bill) of Lakeland, TN and Sandy Gay (Kim) of Bartlett, TN; three grandchildren: Kelly Crow (Turner) of Memphis, Andrew Gay (Heather) and Matthew Gay both of Bartlett, TN. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018  with service immediately following at:  Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East  Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital
