Annie Louise Darr Stafford was born in Whitehall, Arkansas on April 5, 1919 to the late Henry & Pearl Darr and went home to be with the Lord while living with her daughter and son in law in Jackson, TN on August 10, 2016.
She was married to the late Woodrow Stafford for 59 ½ years. They lived in Memphis, TN for many years and also in Southaven, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, one brother, one son in law, other family members and close friends.
She is survived by her son Ronnie (Donna) Stafford of Olive Branch, MS and daughter Barbara (Woody) Woodard of Jackson, TN. She was known as Granny to Andrea (Justin) Pasqualini of College Grove, TN and Adam (Hope) Stafford of Southaven, MS. She was known as Mamaw to Kevin Buchanan of Nashville, TN, Christy (Lane) Evans of Murfreesboro, TN, Cara (Kyle) Evans of Henderson, TN and Teresa Duncan of Hernando, MS. She had 9 great grandchildren, Martha Ann Evans, Wylie Evans, Mary Louise Evans, Olivia Evans, Nicholas Pasqualini, Kyler Pasqualini, Caden Pasqualini, Ethan Stafford and Mikahla Stafford.
She also leaves behind two sisters in law, Frances Gober and family in Milan, TN and Jewel Irene Green and family in Cerritos, CA. She was a lifetime member of O. K. Houck Eastern Star Chapel #229.
Pall Bearers are Adam Stafford, Justin Pasqualini, Lane Evans, Kyle Evans and Carlton Towles.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the student ministry at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ in Southaven, MS or to the student ministry at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN.
Visitation will be at Forest Hill Midtown Funeral Home on Saturday starting at 1pm with the celebration service starting at 2pm. Dr. Philip Jett and grandson Kevin Buchanan will officiate.
