On Thursday, January 7, 2021 Annie Laura Buck Lynes, loving mother, grand, great-grand,  great-great grandmother, died peacefully at home at the age of 97.

Annie (Ann) was born July 28, 1923 in Lexington, Mississippi to Beatrice Wilson and Camellus  Oscar Buck.

On May 13, 1942 she married Henry Addison Lynes, Jr. who preceded her death in 2016. They  were married 73 years. Both were long-standing members of Raleigh Methodist Church.

Annie is survived by her children, Kathryn A. Lynes, Mary L. Jones (Ron), Henry A. Lynes, III  (Teri), and Laura L. Spencer (Byron), six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and one on the way.

Known for her playful wit, kindness, unconditional love, she was adored by everyone in her  family and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a joy to be with.

A family service will be held on January, 2021 and a celebration of Annie's life will be held later  this year.

The family requests that any memorials be sent to the donor's charity of choice.
