Applona "Abby" Jeffrey Sain, 81, of Memphis, went to be with her Lord on July 30, 2013. She was a member of South Tipton Assembly of God. Mrs. Sain is the widow of Ben Sain and is survived by her children, Benny Sain (Phyllis), Vickie Eddleman Cochran (Gary), Milton Sain (Debbie), Jim Sain (Rhonda), and Judy Strauser (Mike); a brother, E.H. Jeffrey; a sister, Ruth Kellums; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Sain Murphy, and a sister, Gearline Baldridge. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 2 and service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 3 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
