ARCHIE EARL BURGESS, 78, of Memphis, TN, died Sunday, January 22, 2012. He was retired from Sherwood Medical Company after 27 years; the last 18 years as a regional sales manager from Texas to Canada and Arkansas to South Carolina. Earl loved his work and the many friends he made across the country. His hobbies were fishing, sports, and class reunions of the Treadwell Class of '51. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Janice; and two children, Paul Burgess and Janice Anyan. He also leaves grandchildren, Justin Burgess, Cameron Burgess, Kristine Burgess, Kaitlyn Hansen, and Jeff Anyan. Mr. Burgess is also survived by two brothers, Bruce Burgess and Joe Burgess. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Lee, Ken, and Charlie. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, followed by Service at 11 a.m., all at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment to follow.
