IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur F.
Pike
January 6, 1942 – April 26, 2024
Mr. Arthur Franklin Pike born on January 6th, 1942 (82) passed away in his home on April 26th, 2024.
Arthur, better known as Bubba or Poppy, was truly one of a kind. To all who knew him, he was the best man to live on earth. He graduated from Treadwell High School (1960). He served his country in the Air Force Reserves. He worked for the city as an Administrator of Public Works for 34 years. He was a jack of all trades. He spent his time building, painting, golfing, fishing, listening to music, cracking jokes, talking politics or history, and eating any form of dessert he could get his hands on. More than anything he loved to love. He loved his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren beyond measure and always went above and beyond for them. His crazy stories, selflessness, wisdom, and overwhelming love will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ferguson Pike and Anna Louisa Stone Pike; his brothers, William F. Pike, Claude C. Pike, Don J. Pike; sisters Anna Belle Stotts, Edna Ray, Donna Hartley, Dorothy Shipman, Carolyn Dunn; His son-in-law Mike Ferguson.
He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Doris Pike; his sister Eleanor Gavrock; his daughters LouWanda Ferguson, Dawn Graves, Vicky King, his grandchildren, Joey Graves (Haley Graves), Louis Michael Graves, Courtney Lies (Ben Lies), Noah King, Jacob Ferguson, Hana King, Evan King, and Kaly King; his great grandchildren Kason Graves, Tovi Graves, Charlotte Lies, Renneara Graves. Along with many nieces and nephews.
