Assunta Reaves, 89, born December 1, 1932 in Naples, Italy passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 in Memphis, TN. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Lloyd Reaves; one sister, Imacolatta Carmignano and one brother, Vittorio Carmignano. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pasqule and Chiara Carmignano.

Assunta married the love of her life, Lloyd Reaves, in 1964 and moved to America in 1965. One of her favorite stories was traveling to the United States as a married woman and seeing the statue of liberty for the first time. She and Lloyd spent several years in Hawaii, Florida and Assunta's favorite place in the world, Spain. In her free time she enjoyed being with friends and family and playing bingo at the NAS Millington Bingo Hall.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2022 from 1:00-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill East Mausoleum 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
