Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ava Dean MacFall, 93, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2012. The widow of Charles MacFall, she is survived by two daughters, Judy Perkins Chaffin (Cecil) of Bartlett, Beverly Dean Karem of Germantown; one sister, Betty Forrester (Dan); seven grandchildren, Karen Rainey, Chris Chaffin, Tracey Chaffin, William Allen Perkins, Sherry Perkins, Tiffany Karem Donnelly, and Michael Jordan Karem; 13 great-grandchildren; niece, Ann Terry; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William Allen Perkins (widow Donna Perkins); two great-granddaughters, Brianna Rainey and Jessica Taylor. Formerly of Chesterfield, MO, Ava loved playing bridge with her many friends. After she moved to Germantown, she became an avid competitive ballroom dancer. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
