Barbara Benton was 73 years old. She was born in New Orleans Louisiana on October 15, 1952. She passed away on January 25, 2026 in Memphis Tennessee where she lived with her sister Jean Ibosh and her brother-in-law Steven Ibosh.

Her late parents were Hugh Benton and Betty Nolan. Her siblings were the late Susan Bevington and she is survived by sister Jean Ibosh and brother Hugh C Marsh. She had two nieces Christa Phillips and Andrea Hale and one nephew Stephen Ibosh Jr. She had four grand nieces, Isabella Phillips, Harper Hale, Bronwyn Hale and Lila Hale. She had one grand nephew, Lucas Phillips.

Her hobbies were watching movies, listening to her music and copying her friends phone numbers and addresses. She loved going to Friends of Faith to hang out with her friends and she loved playing bingo. She collected knickknacks and stuffed animals.

We are holding a celebration of life for Barbara on May 9, 2026 at Forest Hill East cemetery on Kirby-Whitten Road at 2 PM.
