Barbara Ann Davis, of Southaven MS, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Barbara was born on January 17, 1941 to Harry P and Evelyn Luna Brewer in Memphis, TN. She married Claude Baxter James, III shortly after graduation from Whitehaven High School. They went on to have Marsha James Shafer(Phillip) and Harry Ronald James(Lorre).

She married Terry E Davis in 1974 who preceded her in death.

Barbara retired from Performance Staffing of Southaven, MS to take care of her mother and spend time with her grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by her father and mother, Harry & Evelyn Brewer; sister, Patty Hughes, and brother Donnie Brewer: son, Harry James; son-in law Phillip Shafer; grandson, Jeremy Hagewood. She is survived by her brother, Ronnie Brewer; daughter, Marsha Shafer; grandchildren, Michelle Kelly and Ashley Bakke; Great Grandchildren, Trace & Maddox Hagewood, Charlotte & Brooks Kelly; Great-great grandchildren, Sage & Jace Hagewood.

She will have graveside services only at Forest Hill South on December 9, 2024 at 2PM.

Although Barbara is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
