Barbara Lee Dexter, 76, of Memphis passed away on January 30, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis. Mrs. Dexter was preceded in death by her parents: Leon and Nellie Johnson also one son, Sonny Summerall. She is survived by her husband, Travis Dexter; two sons: Don Summerall and Eric Dexter; one daughrter, Lisa Woods (Nathan); eight grandchildren: Brandy Morris, Valerie Papa, Dana Summerall, Jake Dexter, Kristin Summerall, Garrett Woods, Gage Woods, Gavin Woods; one brother, Mike Johnson and 7 great-grandchildren. The family request that any memorials are sent to: St. Jude Children''s Hospital, Memphis Union Mission or National Jewish Health 1400 Jackson Street Denver, CO 80206. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 3 with service 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
