Barbara E. Dorris, 85, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday May 28, 2015. She is survived by her son, Jimmy (Dore) Dorris; daughter, Cindy Snyder; sister, Diane (Toney) Davis; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dorris; daughter, Nancy Loftis; parents, Dorron and Helen English; and brother, Dorron English, Jr. A funeral service will be held on Monday June 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. with visitation before the service beginning at 12 p.m.; all held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South on East Holmes Road.
