Barbara Ann Dunlap, 79, of Southaven, MS passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025.

Mrs. Dunlap worked for DeSoto County School System for more than 25 years. She was a sweet and giving person. She gave to many charities, St. Jude Children's Hospital was special to her heart.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dunlap; her parents, Edgar and Zenewee Perkins; two sisters, Nancy Jane Delarosa and Opal Wilbanks; three brothers, Richard Perkins, Ramond C. Perkins and Herman Perkins.

She leaves two daughters, Karen Dunlap of Southaven, MS and Sharen Putt of Bartlett, TN; five grandchildren, Alysha Shelby, Kaitlyn Davis, Kevin, Laura and Sarah Smorowski; also, two great-grandchildren, Dakota and Connor Jackson.

The family requests that any memorials are sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
