Barbara Jean Fears, 88, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Bells Nursing Home in Bells, Tennessee.

Barbara was born in Craighead County, Arkansas, and was raised in Leachville, Arkansas. She was a talented professional seamstress who worked for Oak Hall Clothing Store and also operated from her home for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Fears; her parents, R.L. and Beatrice Swink; four sisters; and one great-great-grandchild.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Mark S. Fears (Vicki) and Miles Fears; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; also two sisters, Jo Stewart and Sue Ezekiel.

She will be remembered for her hard work, dedication to her family, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and craftsmanship.
