Barbara J. Hatch, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1947, in Clarksburg, TN.

Barbara spent her later years residing at Kings Daughters & Sons in Bartlett, TN where she was cared for with compassion. She will be remembered as a loving and kind soul whose warmth touched those around her and she was a favorite of the nurses and staff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carles Hatch and Carrie Hatch. 

Barbara is survived by her sister, Betty Bumpus of Bartlett, and her brother, Gary Hatch, who currently resides at Kings Daughters & Sons. She also leaves behind her nephew, David J. Johnson of Nashville, TN and her great-niece and great-nephew, Kayla and Grant Johnson. 

A private ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Forest Hill East.

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Barbara’s memory. Barbara will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
