Barbara Jean (McBride) Milton, 74, passed away on September 5, 2016. She was an active and artistic lady who loved helping people. Barbara was a longtime employee of American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) where she help start an Adopt A School Program at Charjean Elementary School. She touched many lives as well with her smile and "Party Artie Entertainers" which allowed her to portray loving characters such as "Ragged Ann". Ms. Milton was most known for her work in the printing industry, as a printing consultant and was an entrepreneur for many years doing contract printing. She is survived by her four sons, Kevin McBride, Charles McBride (Tammy), Robert McPherson (Stephanie), John McBride; two sisters, Betty Byrd, Peggy Schroeder; brother, Johnny Milton; six grandchildren, Sara, Helen, Elijah, Jack, Katy, Cameron; and two great grandchildren, Lillian and Scarlett. Ms. Milton was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Reynolds. Visitation will be 12 noon, Friday, September 9 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. The family request memorials be sent to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation.
