Barbara "Bobbie" McClanahan (Ferguson), 75, of Russellville, AR. formerly of Memphis and surrounding areas, passed away April 13, 2018 in Little Rock, AR at Arkansas Heart Hospital. Barbara was born in Jericho, AR on October 6, 1942, where she attended Marion high school. After graduation, she worked in several factories, upon her retirement she had been a home maker. She enjoyed shopping,coloring,playing games and taking care of her family. Barbara was as strong as steel, but if ever someone was in need (especially a child) she would find a way to provide whatever was needed. She is preceded in death by her parents Guen Van and Lucille E (Spencer) Ferguson, Her spouse of more then 50 years - A.W. (Wayne) McClanahan, one brother - Edward (Eddie) Ferguson, three sisters - Marion Jean Ferguson, Judith (Judy) Taylor, Mary Guen Ray, and great grandson - Brantley Gage Coker. Barbara leaves behind 5 children: Anita Louise Burnette (John) of Jonesbourgh, TN., Teresa Carol Dugger of Altus, OK., David Wayne McClanahan (Brittney) of Knoxville, AR., Mark Lynn McClanahan (Maggie) of Russellville, AR., and Michael Greg McClanahan of Russellville, AR. Two brothers, Teddy Ferguson of Ft. Smith, AR., Jimmy Ferguson of West Memphis,AR. and one sister, Jeanette Burns of Wyne, AR. She also leaves 11 grandchildren - Jason Williford, Jessica Williford, A. J. Coker, Kevin Coker, Brandon Coker, Brittany Wilson, Monica Peterson, Madison McClanahan, Ciarra McClanahan, Veronica McClanahan, Marley McClanahan, and 11 great grandchildren - Hunter, Hayleigh, Keyton, Case, Cade, Hayden, Zane, Jordyn, Payton, Branson and Afton. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 18, 2018 with funeral service to follow immediately after. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
