BARBARA HARRIS PINSON, 68, of Cordova, TN, retired elementary school teacher, died October 13, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2 p.m. services following at Mt. Pisgah M.B. Church in Cordova, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East. Mrs. Pinson leaves a daughter, Denise Pinson of Cordova; two sons, George Pinson, II, of Memphis, and Jason Pinson of Maryland; former husband, George Pinson, Sr. of Memphis; a sister, Teresa and Charleston Gibbs of Cordova; two aunts, Dorothy Clements of California and Evelyn Redd of Memphis, and two nephews, along with a host of cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be sent to the Catholic Diocese of Tennessee or the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
