Barry Moore Gillespie, 93, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 8, 2018. Mr .Gillespie was preceded in death by his late wife, Ellen Martin Gillespie and his sister, Nancy Gillespie Owens. He is survived by his wife, Frances Gillespie; 5 children: Lauren Ditto(John), Frank M. Gillespie(Patricia), Leah Ditto(Lester), Brent Gillespie, and Lori Miller; 2 step-sons: Rev. Curtis Crenshaw and Paul Bouland; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren. Mr. Gillespie served our country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a member of Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home – East, on Whitten Rd. The committal service with military honors will be at 9:30 Friday morning at West TN Veteran's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Palmer Home for Children, P.O.
