BEATRICE RIDER, 99, of Memphis, went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2014. She was born December 8, 1914 to the late William and Mary Sexton. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until Service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown on Elvis Presley Blvd. Beatrice was known as Mama to her children, Nanny to her grandchildren, Nanny Bea to her great-grandchildren and Aunt Darling to her nieces and nephews; she loved to quilt and she loved daisies. Mrs. Rider was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Charles Rider. She leaves two daughters, Rosemary Parsley (Brad) and Pamela Erikson (Andy, her major caregiver); one son, Charlie Rider (LouLou); two grandchildren, Leia Rider Hendrix (Eddie) and Joey Rider (Stacy), and five great-grandchildren.
