Bennie "Mac" Chesteen, 50, of Brighton, TN, born December 29, 1961 in Harlingen,TX was welcomed into Heaven on November 2, 2012 by his father, Laymon Floyd Chesteen and brother, Johnny Chesteen. He was owner and operator of C&C and Son Mechanical and a graduate of Trezevant High School in Frayser. Bennie attended First Baptist Church in Millington and sang in the choir. He was a loving father, son, and grandfather who strongly supported many charities and his community. Bennie is survived by his children, Trevor Allen Chesteen, Rende Dianne Chesteen, Kadie Lynne Chesteen, Jennifer Marie Wilson; mother, Mary Hales; two brothers, Jimmy Chesteen, Clay Chesteen; and granddaughter, Skylar Grace Wilson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 6 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home and service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7 at First Baptist Church in Millington. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
